Frontline Church of God was established in 1998 under the name, The Amanda Church of God. Carl Noland was the founding pastor and organized the church with 12 charter members. The church first met at the Amanda Firehouse and was then moved to the Clearport Community Center, until land and a building were purchased at the corner of State RT 22 and Amanda Northern Rd. Shortly after in September, 1990, Bishop Chris Hildenbrand became the pastor. In 1993 the name of the church was changed to, The Frontline Church of God. This name was chosen, not because of what we are, but what we aspire to be… on the frontlines of ministry.

Ours is a church that believes we serve God by serving people. Our mission is to fulfill the great commission by: preaching good news to the poor, healing the brokenhearted, declaring release from bondage to the captured and restoration of sight to the blind. We will bring them in as members, build them up to maturity, train them for ministry, and send them back out on our mission.

In July of 2002, the church moved into a new 10,200 ft. multi-purpose facility, that seats 300. A year later we began our school. Frontline Church of God offers a variety of ministries and various small groups. Our worship service is on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.  From 12 original members, God has greatly multiplied our numbers and our sphere of influence within our community. We are blessed! Come join us as we continue to grow the Kingdom.

What we believe

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

In one God eternally existing in three persons: namely, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

That Jesus Christ is the only begotton son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead.  That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people. In the baptism with the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart.

In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saint's feet.

In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus.  First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air.  Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.

How we worship

Hebrews 13:15 states, "Let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name." We, at Frontline Church of God, believe that when we gather together we should praise God for His goodness and worship Him simply because He is God. Worship, according to the Bible, can take on many forms and be expressed in various ways. Some of these forms of worship are listed below:

Standing - II Chronicles 20:19 - "They stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high."
Singing - Psalms 9:11 - "Sing praises to the Lord...declare among the people His doings."
Using Instruments - Psalms 150 - "....trumpet, psaltery, harp, timbrel, stringed instruments, organ and cymbals." (David had a band of 4,000 musicians.)
Clapping - Psalms 47:1 - "Clap your hands all ye people, shout unto God with a voice of triumph."
Shouting - Psalms 47:1 - "Clap your hands all ye people, shout unto God with a voice of triumph."
Lifting Our Hands - Psalms 63:4 - "Thus will I bless thee while I live. I will lift up my hands in the name."
Dancing - Psalms 150:4 - "Praise Him with the dance."
Leaping - II Samuel 6:16 - "David leaped before the Lord."
Joyful Noise - Psalms 98:4 - "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all the earth."
Bowing Down - Psalms 95:6 - "O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord, our maker.
