Hi there, thank you for visiting!
Frontline Church of God (formerly The Amanda Church of God), was established in 1988 by founder and Pastor Carl Noland as well as 12 charter members. Once meeting at the Amanda Firehouse and Clearport Community Center, Frontline now resides at the corner of State Route 22 and Amanda Northern Rd. In September of 1990, Chris Hildenbrand became the pastor. The Church was renamed Frontline Church of God in 1993. This name was chosen, not because of who we are, but what we aspire to be: on the frontlines of ministry.
Our History
The church first met at the Amanda Firehouse, but only for a short period of time. This newly formed congregation then began to worship in the Clearport Community Center. Then God performed a miracle and provided about 6 acres of land, along with a 30×70 ft long building, strategically located at the corner of St. Rt. 22 and Amanda Northern Rd. It was purchased for $60,000.

In September 1990, Chris Hildenbrand became the pastor and remains until the present. The Church was renamed “Frontline Church of God” in 1993. This name was chosen, not because of who we are, but what we aspire to be – on the frontlines of ministry. Ours is a church that believes we serve God by serving people. Our mission is to see ordinary people transformed by the power of God into extraordinary followers of Christ. In July 2002, the church moved into a new 10,200 ft multipurpose building that seats 300. A year later we began a preschool and after school program, which at the time, ran about 100 children.

Frontline Church of God offers a variety of ministries and various small groups. Our worship service is on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. From 12 original members, God has greatly multiplied our numbers and our sphere of influence in the community. We continue to grow and we are blessed beyond measure. To God be the glory.
Senior Pastor
Chris Hildenbrand
As an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, Pastor Chris Hildenbrand has served in various capacities since 1982. He became Senior Pastor of Frontline Church of God in 1990. Since that time, Frontline has been blessed with numerical growth and has seen much spiritual development as well. What once started as a group of 12 charter members has grown into a flourishing congregation.
Pastor Hildenbrand has been happily married to his wife, Sharon, since 1980, and they have two children and three grandchildren.
